Scott Bader is excited to announce the renewal of DNV.GL approval for its Crestafix® 621CC range. This renewal covers Crestafix® 621CC 65, 621CC 30, 621CC 45, 621CC 20 White, and 621CC 85. Notably, these products have been granted Grade 2 sandwich approval by DNV.GL, allowing their use in all marine vessels classified by the organization.
The approval, valid until 2022, applies to Crestafix® 621CC products manufactured at Scott Bader’s French plant in Amiens. Additionally, for the first time, products manufactured at Scott Bader’s UK plant have also received DNV.GL approval.
The Crestafix® 621CC range comprises pre-accelerated urethane acrylate/isophthalic polyester high-performance bonding pastes. These non-sagging, filled compounds are specifically formulated for the assembly and bonding of GRP mouldings.
This latest DNV.GL approval adds to Scott Bader’s adhesive range’s credentials, following the ‘Duromeric’ DNV.GL approval granted to Crestabond® M1-30 and M1-60 in 2015.
